USING AUTOMATIC REFLECTION

Using auto reflection

1. Enbable the autoreflection feature Open the Application Editor. In the Rendering Settings - Rollout set "Auto Reflections -> Enable in real-time view" to "Auto" as shown in the picture above. Then close the Application Editor.

2. Assigning a reflection map Open the 3ds Max Material Editor. Select any Standard Material to which you want to add auto reflection. Locate the Maps - Rollout. Press the map button of the Reflection channel as shown above.

3. Create a new Reflect/Refract texture Then press OK. Now you should see the reflection in the Click-VR Viewport.

Tips and Notes

You can improve performance by setting Auto Reflections -> Enable in real-time view to First-frame only
You can combine bump and reflection maps to get per-pixel reflection.
You can reduce the amount of the reflection by using the blending weight.
